pwned

May 13th, 2008 | misc

In a previous post I mentioned that I’d update once I get more information about this wheatpaste work. I have the update now, and it ain’t pretty:  it’s actually a viral marketing to promote the new Vespa S in Canada.  I have fallen victim to a marketing scheme and I am sure it won’t be the last time.  Still, I feel quite shitty about this so forgive me for not linking to Vespa’s site.

Protectors of the street, or just minding their own business

April 3rd, 2008 | installation

Saw this today on my way to Denise Pelletier’s talk at Emily Carr (more on that later). I have no idea who the artist is and what it is for; I only know that there are four of them at the intersection under the Granville bridge going into Granville Island and my roommate Sean told me that this has popped up along Granville Street as well. I should probably check it out too.

2008-05-13 update: I was pwned, it’s a Vespa viral promotion, according to computerlove.
