Craig Ward’s painted Russian dolls for Weiden + Kennedy is an interpretation of the poem/lyrics “There was an old lady who swallowed a fly.” I never heard of such a song so naturally I googled and found it on wikipedia. After reading it, I have to say that Russian dolls are perfect for this song, and the bright orange neon paint doesn’t hurt either.
