I sort of have an idea of a possible manufacturing process (I assume it is acrylic) that can do this, but to mass-produce it? If I find out more from my friends in the field, I’ll leave it in the comment section. Jump to see two more images.
Yup, from this image I think it confirms my theory. Still, I want to be sure before I post it.
It is designed by Ralph Nauta and Lonneke Gordijn and will be shown in Salone del mobile in a solo exhibition, April 16-21.
